Slavica Tobdzic, a registered and highly experienced Social Worker, is the founding Director of New Moon Safeguarding Services. 

 

With more than 16 years of social care experience, Slavica began her career in supported accommodation and has since worked in frontline, managerial and consultant roles across voluntary, private and public sector organisations. Slavica is now widely recognised as an expert in the area of child exploitation, having successfully coordinated local authority exploitation services and subsequently acting as a consultant to local government in this field. In recognition of her commitment to supporting vulnerable children and young people, Slavica was also nominated for the prestigious Social Worker of the Year Award.

 

In the continuous pursuit of raising standards of care, Slavica uses her extensive experience to provide specialist training, safeguarding support and quality assurance improvement work to a range of settings through New Moon Safeguarding Services. Previous clients include local authorities, residential children’s homes, supported accommodation providers and fostering agencies.
